Michigan State’s offensive line will use all the help in can get. After a horrid 2018 season which saw the line get ravaged with injuries as well as poor play, a guy like Nick Samac will be a breath of fresh air.

When you think of 2019 recruiting class offensive linemen, the first one that comes to mind has to be Devontae Dobbs. The former five-star recruit has been playing well in fall camp and looks to be a future star at left tackle, or even guard, but who comes to mind next? It might just be JD Duplain or even Spencer Brown, but the forgotten piece to the puzzle is Samac — and that’s not fair.

Well, it might actually be fair because Samac is the kind of guy who has been flying under the radar throughout his whole career. He was a three-star lineman for a while until he got a four-star bump at the end of his high school career and even earned a late offer from Ohio State.

The options were there for Samac, but he chose to remain loyal to Michigan State and that could pay off for both sides very soon. He’s a strong, athletic offensive lineman who could excel at tackle or guard but will find a way onto the field in year one. He’ll soon become a household name for Spartan fans.
