Riding high after a big-time road win against Northwestern, Michigan State will head back home to face a usually-pesky Indiana team. The Hoosiers never go down quietly and this one will be no different.

Michigan State will strike first, but a 7-0 score will hold up through the entire first quarter and into the second before two Indiana field goals.

Peyton Ramsey may be one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the Big Ten, but the Spartans will hold him in check throughout which will cause Stevie Scott to be the primary means of offense. He struggled against Michigan State last season and won’t exactly put up big numbers this time around, either, but he’ll go for about 65 yards and a touchdown.

Will that be enough to knock off Michigan State? Not with an improving offense and a defense that doesn’t allow responses.

Michigan State will do just enough to hold on for a win and like all games against the Hoosiers, it won’t be the prettiest.

Final Score: Indiana 16, Michigan State 28 (5-0, 2-0)
