I’ve been high on Cam Chambers ever since he committed to Michigan State in the 2016 class. He hasn’t had the easiest road in East Lansing, being buried on the depth chart, but 2019 seems like the perfect time for him to breakout and become a household name.

Chambers has graduated already and is now focusing solely on the 2019 season. He has high expectations for his redshirt junior year and it looks like he’s going to have an expanded role.

As a sophomore, he saw much more action and actually played well, catching 19 passes for 264 yards but has yet to reach the end zone. That should change this season if he realizes his potential and breaks out like I’m expecting.

This is a make-or-break year for Chambers who has been patient with the coaching staff and has waited for his opportunity. Could he become a starter by the end of the season for the Spartans or will he struggle to break into that regular rotation again?
