Michigan State Football: Top 10 prospects for 2020 NFL Draft
All aboard the Cody White bandwagon. Not many guys could lead their team in receiving after missing four games with a broken hand, but that’s just how talented White is.
Even more impressively, he put up all these numbers with a lackluster offense which scored a handful of touchdowns in the final few games. He finished the season with 42 receptions for 555 yards and two touchdowns, surpassing his freshman year numbers when he caught 35 passes for 490 yards.
If White is healthy for the entire 2019 season and puts up the numbers he’s capable of in an improved offensive under Brad Salem, we could be talking about an NFL declaration by the end of his junior campaign.
White is a strong-bodied 6-3, 218-pound wide out from Novi whose dad worked in the NFL and his transition to the next level would be relatively seamless. He has the body to compete with NFL defensive backs and his catch radius is impressive. He makes the toughest catches look routine and anything thrown in his direction is usually swallowed up.
This kid would be a stud at the next level.
