5. Aaron Henry has yet another strong game

How could a young player like Aaron Henry possibly continue to play the game of basketball after getting berated by his head coach in the opening round game against Bradley? I mean, Tom Izzo just tore into him and completely shattered the kid’s confidence.

All joking aside, Henry is becoming quite the player for the Spartans and his career game came at the perfect time as Cassius Winston, Kenny Goins and Matt McQuaid didn’t have their best games against LSU.

Henry scored 20 points with eight rebounds and six assists. He almost messed around and finished with a triple-double, but his hot shooting led Michigan State all night long. He’s gaining confidence each time out and it’ll carry over into the matchup with Duke on Sunday night.

The freshman guard will rise to the occasion like he has in back-to-back games and finish with another double-digit scoring performance with 13 points and seven rebounds to go along with three assists and a turnover. He’ll shoot over 50 percent and provide another much-needed scoring spark.
