4. This team just doesn’t back down from anyone

“Michigan just has more talent.” Beating the Wolverines three times put that notion to bed.

“Bradley plays the same style and has the recipe to upset MSU.” That was true for about 30 minutes and then Michigan State woke up and scored in the clutch when it mattered.

“Minnesota is hungry.” The Gophers stood zero chance from the opening tip against a red-hot Michigan State squad.

“LSU is too athletic for Michigan State.” And the Spartans dominated from start to finish against that uber-athletic squad, not letting the Tigers play their game.

This team just isn’t afraid of any matchup and doesn’t back down from anyone. And while everyone is already saying “Duke is going to wipe the floor with MSU”, the Spartans know they can hang with the Blue Devils.

The mental toughness within this team is incredible and it’s helped the Spartans win 31 games to this point while claiming the Big Ten Tournament and regular season titles. Don’t expect them to back down from Duke.
