Can Michigan State basketball end its successful season with national championship? There are plenty of reasons that point to why it is a solid possibility.

This is obviously a bold prediction. I don’t know the future, I can’t tell what is going to happen. Michigan State could just as easily lose Friday night to LSU as they could win it all. If they turn over the ball more than 15 times against LSU, chances are the game will be over and LSU will be moving on to the Elite Eight instead.

But I don’t think that’ll happen.

I have a gut feeling that this year, the 2018-19 men’s basketball season, will finally be the year Michigan State, and the Big Ten for that matter, win another national championship. I’ll back it up with reasoning. I’ll prove why this is a possibility.

And if you’re an MSU fan who is always worried, always afraid they’re going to lose, read carefully, and hopefully, my overflowing optimism will get through to you.

Disclaimer: This is a gut feeling and overflowing optimism only. Don’t go betting your life savings on MSU winning it all. I mean maybe $20 bucks or so, but don’t go overboard here.

Okay here we go.
