3. Michigan State hovers around 50 percent from 3-point range

Against Nebraska on Tuesday, Michigan State was on fire from long-range. The Spartans made 50 percent of their threes, led by Kenny Goins and Matt McQuaid, and that was even with Cassius Winston not making one from distance. The same will happen on Saturday, but Winston, too, will get into the action.

The Spartans will get hot from distance early on thanks to a couple of McQuaid fired-up long-range jumpers and Gabe Brown will even add one from the bench.

It will extend into the second half as Winston begins to heat up and Goins gets warmer on Senior Day. The two seniors will combine for six threes and Winston will add a couple while Brown and even a hampered Kyle Ahrens will contribute from distance while Aaron Henry makes one in his third straight game.

On the game, Michigan State will make about 10-11 and shoot around 22-24, hovering around the 50 percent mark again.
