A. . F. Senior. KENNY GOINS

Is there a better glue guy in the Big Ten this season? You’d be hard-pressed to find one as Kenny Goins continues to just be that do-it-all player for the Spartans and one of the most consistent performers on the team.

Actually, he was coming off a rare shaky performance against Rutgers and showcased his leadership against Michigan, making some big shots throughout the game, including a clutch jumper from the baseline late in the game. He finished with 16 points to go along with 11 rebounds and an assist.

There was only one bad play that he had which I can remember and it was where he had the ball swiped from behind after a rebound. Other than that, he played one of the best games of his career and it came on the big stage. This kid deserves all the props in the world.

Shooting from 3-point range was a bit of a struggle as he went 3-for-9, but he finished 3-for-4 from inside the arc.

Michigan State is lucky to have a guy like Goins on its side.
