Small Forward

Aaron Henry (4.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists)

This freshman is an athletic freak. Aaron Henry reminds me of Shannon Brown back in the early 2000s because, yeah, he can shoot but he would much rather take it to the basket and dunk on you. Henry is starting for Josh Langford who is out for the rest of the season. This was a big blow to the Spartans but that’s not meant discredit Henry.

The first-year wing is tenacious when it comes to the game and he can play some big-time defense in order to get the crowd on his side. He is only a freshmen and a little underdeveloped but he has shown he can contribute to this team and he has shown why he should start. Henry needs to be careful with the ball, though, making good passes and avoiding turnovers.

Charles Matthews (13.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists)

Charles Matthews is an impressive upperclassmen. He’s always aware of where the ball is and looking to take the rock in order for an easy fast-break bucket. Matthews also has the ability to stop on a dime for a pull-up jumper but he is also not afraid to back you down onto the block and force a foul or get a nifty lay-in. He does not care who it is defending him he will not back down.

Matthews will be someone to watch throughout this game because he will be the leader who the Wolverines will rally behind.

Advantage: Matthews
