4. Kenny Goins has one of his best games of the season

This game means more to Kenny Goins than it does to most of the young guys on the team because, well, they haven’t quite lived the rivalry like he has.

In fact, Goins is a fifth-year senior and former walk-on from the Troy, Mich., has grown up following the rivalry and knows just how much it means to Michigan State. He has assumed the role of leader this season and he’s preaching to the younger guys the importance of this one so expect him to come out and have one of his best games yet.

Goins will hit some big 3-pointers to stop some Michigan runs before they really get started and he’s going to finish with 11 rebounds as well, including three on the offensive glass which will lead to second-chance points.

It’s not going to be an eye-popping stat line, but Goins will make a difference in this one and he’ll play some solid defense on Ignas Brazdeikis or whoever he’s tasked with covering.

I’m going with a double-double from Goins with two blocks and a steal.
