2. Cassius Winston goes off for 30 points
For as impressive a career as Cassius Winston has had to this point in his junior year, he’s never once reached the 30-point mark in the scoring column.
Will he finally reach 30 points against the Badgers? I’m going to be incredibly bold here and say that he will, adding six assists and turning the ball over just twice. It’s going to be that Big Ten Player of the Year statement game that he needed, especially going against fellow contender Ethan Happ.
Winston has hit the 29-point mark before and even 28, but he always seems to play well against Wisconsin, scoring 54 points in three games last season and then hitting double-digits in his only opportunity as a freshman. He’s going to have the game of his career on Tuesday, putting the offense on his back with six threes and a few craft layups, scoring 31.
Can the Spartans actually lose if Xavier Tillman reaches double-double status and Winston scores 31 with six assists and only two turnovers?
