This is one prospect I’m more than excited for who maybe doesn’t get as much attention as some others because he was the last to commit to Michigan State’s 2019 class, signing on Wednesday afternoon.

Tre’Von Morgan drew some high praise from his new head coach as Mark Dantonio stated he reminds him a bit of Plaxico Burress both with his hands and ability to make plays on offense as well as his aggressiveness. He can block as well as catch passes, which is ideal for a Michigan State receiver.

On top of that, he’s huge. The three-star receiver from Massillon, Ohio, stands 6-foot-6 and weighs in at about 215 pounds. He’s every cornerback’s worst nightmare because size absolutely kills in the red zone. He’s going to be a jump-ball target for the Spartans, potentially right away. Could he replace Felton Davis III?

Morgan is listed as the No. 477 prospect and 56th-best receiver in the class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
