Rutgers is riding its first three-game conference win streak since joining the Big Ten in school history. That may not seem like a big deal, but this team is gaining confidence and that’s bad news for the rest of the Big Ten.

No, that doesn’t mean Rutgers is getting ready to contend for conference titles, but it’s also not going to just roll over and let the rest of the league trounce them game in and game out.

Rutgers went on a 22-0 run to come back and beat a slumping Indiana team and that capped a three-game streak which also saw wins against Nebraska and at Penn State. The Scarlet Knights have also beaten Ohio State this season, but Michigan State holds the advantage this season, beating them back in December.

We are going to see more of the same this time around as every Michigan State starter scores in double figures and the Spartans out-rebound the Scarlet Knights by at least 10.

We may even have a Marcus Bingham Jr. sighting, and strong showing, as the Spartans use him in garbage time.

Prediction: Rutgers 58, Michigan State 77 (23-4, 14-2)
