4. Gabe Brown will score in double figures

Though he didn’t see much of the court in the past game against Maryland, Gabe Brown does have the ability to play 20-plus minutes like he did in the previous two contests against Nebraska and Penn State not he road. He’ll fill in once again for an injured Josh Langford, depth-wise, and he’s going to finish with over 15 minutes and he’ll make the most of it, scoring in double figures for the second time in his career.

The last time Brown broke the 10-point mark was back on Dec. 15 against Green Bay and he has the shooting touch and aggressiveness with the ball in his hands to repeat that.

When Michigan State last faced Iowa, Brown played just eight minutes and scored two points but he’s going to have his best Big Ten game yet, scoring 12 with a few threes and a big and-one late in the game to give the Spartans a major boost off the bench.

Not only will he be a menace on the offensive end, but he will play well enough on defense to impress Tom Izzo and earn more minutes.

That defense will be a nice bonus.
