3. Cassius Winston leads all scorers yet again

There’s a reason people are talking about Cassius Winston as the leader for Big Ten Player of the Year and it’s because he’s improved in just about every regard this season, adding elite scorer to his list of attributes.

Not only can he score at a high clip, but he’s cut his turnovers down and he’s passing the ball better than he ever has in his career. His shooting percentage from long range is down but that’s because he’s attempting more shots than he did last year but how can you knock a kid who makes about 45 percent of his 3-pointers?

Winston will have yet another big game, following up his career performance last week against Nebraska when he scored 29 points and put the team on his back to victory.

The junior point guard from Detroit will once again lead all scorers with 23 points to go along seven assists and two turnovers. He’ll win the battle between him and Anthony Cowan Jr., but it’ll be one of those must-see matchups. The two will exchange blows for most of the game, but Winston will get the last laugh.
