1. Spartans record another double-digit road win

Penn State is just one of two winless teams in the Big Ten this season but that doesn’t mean the Nittany Lions aren’t a threat to the Spartans’ perfect conference record.

Losses to Wisconsin and Michigan are the only ones which came by double-digits this season and Michigan State will add to that list with an 11-point victory in Happy Valley. It’s not going to be a pretty, cakewalk-like victory, but the Spartans will find a way to make shots late and put the Nittany Lions away.

When Michigan State is playing smart ball on the offensive side and holding average, at best, offenses in check, it is extremely difficult to beat.

Can Michigan State pull off another big road victory against a Big Ten foe, winning by 10-plus points? I’m going with a yes even though Penn State has been a tricky team under Pat Chambers’ control.

The Spartans will win their fifth Big Ten game of the year by double figures and improve to 6-0 in conference play and 15-2 overall.
