Biggest Miss: Jordan Huff, CB

This one actually hurts. Michigan State had Jordan Huff committed since last year and it looked as if he would be a stud in the 2019 class, but he decided to re-open his recruitment — there was chatter that he wanted to remain close to home in Georgia.

Those murmurs had a little more weight to them when he decided to commit to Georgia Tech in August. It seemed like he was off the table for the Spartans, but he took an unexpected trip to East Lansing the weekend before early signing day and the momentum was on the side of MSU — or so we thought. It wasn’t enough to flip him as he signed with the Yellow Jackets.

Even a coaching change at Georgia Tech wasn’t enough to convince him to travel north and leave his home-state of Georgia.

The three-star defensive back is ranked the No. 520 overall player and 28th-best athlete in the class, per 247Sports. He’s one of the most versatile players in the class and could be another two-way player for the Spartans.

Unfortunately, he’s ACC-bound.

Honorable Mention: Aaron Young, RB
