Though Michigan State will have plenty of receiver depth in 2019, like the punter position, we found out that you can never have too many wide outs.

Felton Davis III, Cody White, Jalen Nailor, Darrell Stewart Jr. and Cam Chambers all suffered injuries which made the transfers of Trishton Jackson and Hunter Rison even more impactful. No one expected Michigan State to have any offensive troubles in 2018, but it was one of the worst in the Big Ten and the country, and injuries had plenty to do with that.

Tre Mosley comes in from West Bloomfield as one of the top receivers in the Midwest and the No. 10 recruit in the state of Michigan, according to 247Sports. He is also listed as the No. 457 overall player and 52nd-best wide out.

The Michigan-native brings a toughness to the receiver position which resembles Cody White. He can catch the tough passes and still has the awareness to keep his balance, absorb big hits and keep churning his legs down the field.

With Davis III graduating, the Spartans could use another piece in the receiving corps who can contribute right away. Mosley is that guy.
