3. Josh Langford must be smarter with the ball in his hands

How often do we see Josh Langford pump-fake, drive to the basket, slip and try to toss the ball to a teammate, but instead throwing into the waiting arms of a defender? Far too often.

For a junior captain, Langford needs to make better decisions. He led the team with five turnovers, contributing to yet another shaky performance. He did finish with 13 points on 5-for-11 shooting with three rebounds and two assists, but those five cough-ups made a huge difference in the final outcome.

If Langford didn’t turn the ball over five times in the fashion that he did, giving up easy buckets on the other end, the game would have been in hand before the final couple of minutes.

Langford is trusted by Tom Izzo and he needs to earn it with less turnovers and more smart decisions. Far too many times we witnessed him throwing bad passes and trying to do too much instead of just playing his game.
