2. Josh Langford bounces back, scores 20-plus

An argument could be made that Josh Langford is the most improved player on the team this season, leading the Spartans in scoring with 17.1 points per game.

However, he’s had a rough few games, dating back to the Big Ten/ACC Challenge against Louisville. He’s still scoring in double figures each game, but his shooting prowess has regressed. He’s no longer making over 50 percent of his shots and he has dipped to under 40 percent from the field over the last three contests.

Langford is averaging 14.3 points per game over the past three, but that’s not the worst part. In fact, he’s shooting just 36 percent from the field. He’s also been fairly turnover-prone, coughing the ball up seven times in those three contests.

Against Florida, Langford will bounce back and he one of the reasons the Spartans find offensive success against a tough defense.

Langford will get back on track and top 20 points again for the first time since the Texas game.
