3. Cassius Winston dishes 10 assists with just two turnovers

Cassius Winston had an up-and-down game against Texas in the Las Vegas Invitational title, scoring 20 points but turning the ball over seven times. He did finish with 10 assists which slightly made up for the excess in turnovers, but he’s going to make the Texas outing a thing of the past when he dishes 10 more assists with only two turnovers.

Louisville isn’t going to be an easy team to beat on the road but the Cardinals don’t force many turnovers, which will work in Winston’s favor.

Let’s be clear, he hasn’t been careless with the ball in his hands this season. In fact, he had five total turnovers in the four previous games before Texas combined, but just happened to have his worst game of the year protecting the ball. He’s going to bounce back because he’s a perfectionist that way — also, Tom Izzo isn’t going to let that repeat itself.

Michigan State, as a team, will finish with 10 total turnovers but Winston will only contribute two while dishing 10 assists to a red-hot Josh Langford and bullying Nick Ward in the post.
