1. Michigan State wins by two touchdowns

It won’t be easy, but the Spartans will cover the 1.5-point spread, and then some. Nebraska has been awful this season, even in Lincoln, and the Spartans haven’t lost a road game in conference play and the only loss away from home this season was back in Week 2 against Arizona State.

Michigan State will continue its good road luck, starting a healthy quarterback, getting production from the run game and holding the Cornhuskers’ offense in check, leading to a two-touchdown victory.

How confident am I that the Spartans will win by a couple of touchdowns? Not overly, but that wouldn’t be all that bold of a prediction.

I’m not here to make “Michigan State will win, but just barely” predictions for games that the Spartans should win comfortably.

Vegas doesn’t have much faith in the Spartans, but that’s usually when they break through and win games big or ones that they have no business being in. This time it’ll be the former.
