1. MSU goes 4-0, remains in Big Ten East race

With an upset win over Ohio State and a road win over Maryland to start the month of November, the Spartans will carry momentum into the final two weeks of the regular season.

Getting to 7-3 overall and into the AP Top 25 — and the College Football Playoff rankings — the Spartans will look like one of the most improved teams in the nation. The way they will come together after the Michigan loss will be impressive and it already showed with a 10-point win over Purdue.

Sneaking by Ohio State and winning a back-and-forth battle with Maryland on the road, the Spartans will have their way with both Nebraska and Rutgers. The Cornhuskers will put up a decent fight, though, and make the Spartans sweat out a win, but it’ll ultimately be a double-digit victory for MSU. Rutgers, on the other hand, doesn’t stand much of a chance.

The Scarlet Knights have been nothing more than a dumpster fire this season and that’ll continue in the season finale as the Spartan defense pitches a shutout to give the green and white its ninth win.

Unfortunately, it won’t be enough as Michigan will beat Penn State and avoid a loss until Ohio State, sending the Wolverines to the Big Ten title game.
