4. Cam Chambers will have a career day

With Felton Davis III out, someone has to step up and why not Cam Chambers? He’s fourth on the team in receiving this season and has had a breakout game under his belt against Northwestern. He’s a prime candidate to fill in for an injured Davis III and step up with Cody White also out.

Sure, Darrell Stewart Jr. has the ability to make things happen at receiver, as does Jalen Nailor, but Chambers has the experience and the potential to be a top-two wide out in this offense.

Purdue’s defense will have a game plan for Stewart Jr. already, but Chambers is going to fly in under the radar and give Rocky Lombardi a top option to throw to. He’s going to have his best game as a Spartan, catching seven passes for over 100 yards and a touchdown.

Extending on this bold prediction, I also believe the tight ends will have prominent roles. In fact, don’t be shocked if you hear Matt Dotson’s name plenty on Saturday as Lombardi will be looking to get the ball out quickly and that usually entails finding tight ends or running backs.
