4. Felton Davis III records back-to-back 100-yard games

Only once this season has Felton Davis III reached the century mark. That may seem like a disappointment, but when opposing defenses key in on one receiver — with four others injured — it’s easy to shut him down, or at least contain him. Also, Brian Lewerke admittedly has to get him the ball more.

Davis III is fresh off his best game of the season, catching eight passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-tying and game-winning scores in the second half against Penn State.

A year ago, he had three 100-yard games, which is a surprisingly-low number given how talented he truly is. He has never recorded back-to-back 100-yard outings but that will change on Saturday.

The Wolverines have arguably the best passing defense in the country, but Davis III presents a serious mismatch against just about everyone. He’ll come up big when the Spartans need him most, catching seven passes for 122 yards and a touchdown.
