2. Brian Lewerke will throw three TD passes with no turnovers

Seven turnovers. That’s not going to cut it in the Big Ten in just a four-game stretch. Brian Lewerke has seven turnovers in the first four games of the season, throwing five picks and fumbling twice. Not only will his awareness improve against the Wildcats in the pocket, but his decision-making will, too.

Last year, we witnessed Lewerke burst out of his shell and put together a big performance against the Wildcats, throwing for 445 yards and four touchdowns, but his one interception ended the game in overtime.

This year, he won’t throw a single pick or fumble the ball and he’ll toss three touchdown passes. It’ll be one of those games that’ll steer him back in the right direction.

Michigan State needs a near-perfect game from its junior quarterback to take down the upset-hungry Wildcats in East Lansing and the Spartans will get just that.

No more 1-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio for the talented dual-threat from Arizona as this could launch him into a different level of play.
