2. LJ Scott rushes for over 100 yards (finally)

It’s been a tough season for LJ Scott, to say the least. He has just over 100 yards in two games and is averaging the lowest yards per carry mark of his career. He’s playing behind a mediocre offensive line, but he needs to be more creative in the ways he gains yardage.

Against Indiana, he needs to have a big game, if healthy, and he finally win. The offensive line will have had two weeks to gel and he will get his left tackle back — Cole Chewins.

Moreover, he’s feeling some pressure from Connor Heyward and La’Darius Jefferson behind him, so he’s going to need to step his game up as to keep his starting job.

Scott is going to surpass his two-game total against the Hoosiers, racking up 115 yards and two touchdowns while Heyward will still have a strong game as the backup. The Hoosiers will feel the Spartans’ ground-and-pound style in full force.
