4. Justin Layne holds N’Keal Harry in check

If you’re afraid of N’Keal Harry going off for the second straight game, you’re not alone. The talented wide out may be the best at his position in the Pac-12 and one of the top receivers in the country, yet he doesn’t truly get the credit he deserves.

Standing 6-foot-4, Harry is a matchup nightmare for most opponents, but the Spartans will task Justin Layne, a former receiver, with covering him.

That matchup will pay major dividends as the Spartans hold the talented receiver to just 64 yards and a touchdown which is a win in most people’s eyes.

It may not seem overly bold, but any time you can hold a receiver the caliber of Harry under 100 yards and limit him to one touchdown catch, the outcome of the game could change drastically.

Harry is a major piece of the offensive puzzle for the Sun Devils and the Spartans will take care of business as Layne has a big day in coverage.
