4. Spartans will have different 100-yard receivers each game

Three games, three different 100-yard receivers. While that may not seem like the boldest prediction, that’s actually a very difficult task for any team because not many have three receivers who could break that mark at any given time.

Some teams have one or two guys who may approach the 100-yard mark, but Michigan State has three guys who could at any given moment — not to mention some talented tight ends.

Felton Davis III, Cody White and Darrell Stewart Jr. will each account for 100 yards in a single game in the first month and there may be a game or two when two receivers break that century mark. You could name maybe a couple of other teams in college football that have the capacity to make that kind of statement on offense.

Brian Lewerke has all the targets he could ever hope for and he’s going to take full advantage. White and Davis III get most of the praise, but Stewart Jr. currently leads the team in receptions after a game.

This feat will have all of college football talking.
