4. Familiarity with school, strong relationship with coaches

There’s no doubt about it, Michal Fletcher is familiar with Michigan State, and vice versa. The coaching staff has gotten to know him on a personal level over the past year, or so, and the two sides have a mutual respect.

Fletcher has been to campus countless times and his most recent with his family may have just been his best — and it could have been enough to win him over.

The coaching staff has done a great job making an impression on Fletcher as well, making him feel wanted and earning some glowing reviews from the defensive end from Flint, according to Hondo Carpenter from Spartan Nation.

"“I got to talk to almost every (coach),” he said. “It’s just always great talking with them and catching up with them. There are great people over there, so I love talking to them.”"

It’s always good to hear that a top recruit loves the coaching staff and doesn’t get bored of talking to them. It seems as if Fletcher and Mark Dantonio, along with Chuck Bullough, have a great relationship.

That relationship, coupled with his familiarity of the program, could be enough to win Fletcher over in the end.
