Michigan State basketball’s Miles Bridges could be Tom Izzo’s latest NBA draft lottery pick, but where do the latest expect mocks have him going?

Staying one more year in East Lansing was supposed to do Miles Bridges wonders. He would be moving from the power forward position which he was forced into with a smaller roster in 2016-17 to more of a natural wing spot in 2017-18.

However, he struggled to really gain momentum as teams keyed in on him more often than not and cut off driving lanes. He was forced to take more jumpers than Tom Izzo and Co. would have hoped and he passed the ball off much more than anticipated as well.

In fact, Izzo even stated in the middle of the season that he wished Miles was ‘more of a jerk’ rather than being overly unselfish. He wasn’t taking over games as much, but that’s not exactly his nature — despite the fact he was a borderline superstar at MSU.

The NBA draft is approaching on Thursday night and Bridges is expected to go anywhere from mid-to-late lottery all the way to No. 15, per most mock drafts.

Here’s where the top expert mocks have him going:

ESPN: No. 15 (Wizards)
Sports Illustrated: No. 15 (Wizards)
NBA.com: No. 14 (Nuggets)
CBS Sports: No. 14 (Nuggets)
Bleacher Report: No. 12 (Clippers)
SB Nation: No. 9 (Knicks)
HoopsHype.com: No. 15 (Wizards)
NBADraft.net: No. 15 (Wizards)

Most of the mocks have him at No. 15 with the Wizards which would be an interesting fit with a borderline playoff team. He would have John Wall as his point guard and Bradley Beal with him on the wing, unless he played mostly the four.

The Nuggets would be an interesting option, too. He’d join fellow Spartan Gary Harris in Denver and the two could form a deadly duo. No matter where he goes, the NBA will take notice of Bridges immediately.
