That’s right, I believe Keion Brooks is Michigan State’s top remaining target in the 2019 class because of both fit and probability of commitment.

Michigan State has been in good position with Brooks for some time now and even the 247Sports Crystal Ball, although relatively unreliable, has the Spartans leading for his services with 75 percent of the predictions — Indiana is the only other program with votes, holding 25 percent.

This could be a two-team race to the end for the Fort Wayne, Ind., native as the Hoosiers are one of the rising programs in the Big Ten with Archie Miller now at the helm.

The five-star prospect received a major ratings boost on 247Sports as he’s been dominating all year. He’s now listed as the No. 9 overall recruit in the class and second-best small forward. He’d be a splash commitment for the Spartans, easing the pain of losing out on Romeo Weems.
