5. Spartans punch their ticket to Rose Bowl (2013)

The call: (Too many to name one)

There were far too many memorable calls from this game to just name one. From Jeremy Langford’s game-clinching run to give the Spartans an insurmountable 10-point lead to Denicos Allen’s fourth-and-1 stop on Braxton Miller in the fourth quarter, this game was loaded with memorable calls.

Gus Johnson (TV) and George Blaha (radio) combined to provide Michigan State fans with great coverage and made Spartan fans feel like they were actually in Indianapolis for the game.

Another underrated call was the pass break-up to end Ohio State’s final drive with just over a minute left, clinching Michigan State’s victory and march to its first Rose Bowl in decades.

The best call was probably Langford’s run in the fourth quarter which essentially locked up the win. “Langford still running. Touchdown, Spartans!”

The chills still resonate with that one.
