The five-star offensive tackle from Belleville could help the Spartans keep that pipeline going as they landed four-star athlete Julian Barnett from the class and three-star cornerback Davion Williams from the 2018 cycle — 2018 basketball commit Gabe Brown is also from Belleville.

Dobbs is listed as the No. 2 prospect in the state of Michigan and No. 10 in the country. If he were to commit to Michigan State, that would give the Spartans three of the state’s top five recruits with one other committed to Wisconsin (Logan Brown) and another uncommitted and considering MSU, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State (Mazi Smith).
