Michigan State needs some lengthy wings to cause problems for the rest of the Big Ten in 2019 and five-star small forward Keion Brooks Jr. could be just that.

The nation’s 22nd-best prospect, fifth-best small forward and No. 1 player from Indiana has the potential to be a star in the green and white. He stands 6-foot-8 and weighs in at a slim 185 pounds. He needs to add some muscle in order to fit what the Spartans are looking for, but not every wing can be Miles Bridges’ size.

Brooks Jr. is more of a slashing small forward who can create his own shot. He has the size to post up defenders, height-wise, but needs to add that muscle to back them down at the collegiate level.

At the high school level, though, he has no problem bobbing and weaving through defenders on the way to the basket. He’s been on Tom Izzo’s radar for a couple of years now and the Spartans have seemed like the team to beat, but Indiana has been surging.

Imagine a wing who can handle the ball, blow past defenders and shoot from the perimeter the way that Brooks Jr. can. He’s going to be a really good collegiate scorer.
