1. Let the boys play, Tom
Tom Izzo has a team full of talent, full of four and five-star kids, and it just seems like something isn’t clicking.

Flash back to the 2000 National Championship team, when Mateen Cleaves and Morris Peterson pleaded to Izzo, let them open up a little bit, let them throw alley-oops, and when he allowed it, it was a thing of beauty. Back to the here and now, Izzo needs to let these kids play.
Not every offensive possession needs to be a set play, Tom — especially when your offense is lazy and takes 10-15 seconds to get in place to run the play.
With two lottery picks in the rotation, and three or four really talented offensive pieces to tag along with it, is it really that hard to ask for a little two-man game, or some iso work, or just any sort of motion, free will offense without the fear of getting benched because you didn’t run the play effectively?
If this team is going to make a run, they need to expand this offense, and Tom needs to let his talent play their game.
