2. Miles Bridges cements legacy with memorable string of games

When Miles Bridges called a gathering at the Spartan Statue last spring, nerves were in the air. Would he return for another season at Michigan State or would he take a sure lottery pick selection and millions of dollars to play in the NBA in 2017-18?

Well, Bridges made the unselfish decision to return for his sophomore year and he did so because he wanted to leave his mark at Michigan State. He didn’t want to be remembered for an early-round exit in the NCAA Tournament one season, but rather a champion and a player who can be mentioned in the same breath as Mateen Cleaves and Magic Johnson.

In the month of March, we will see a more focused Bridges and he’s going to cement that legacy which he came back and worked so hard for.

The sophomore will finish the month of March by averaging over 20 points per game and he’ll lead the Spartans to a conference tournament title. He will also have the Spartans playing their best basketball in the NCAA Tournament. Following the tourney run this year, Bridges will have a spot among the all-time greats at MSU.

This kid will average over 20 points per game and look like a completely different player in the most important month of the year.
