2. Miles Bridges will answer Tom Izzo’s call

Earlier this week, Tom Izzo sent out the bat signal for Miles Bridges. He wanted his humble superstar to be more of a jerk. After barely squeaking by Rutgers at home, it was obvious that the Spartans needed more from Bridges, and fast.

Bridges will answer the call against the Wolverines.

Although he’s not the type of player to take control of a game as he likes to get teammates involved, he’s going to step up and immediately impact things. The Spartans are going to see a much more aggressive Bridges and it’s going to pay major dividends.

The sophomore isn’t just going to stand on the wing and pass out of potential driving situations but rather he’s going to take advantage of his athletic edge. He will be the best player on the court at all times on Saturday afternoon, he just needs to prove it.

Bridges will finish with a game-high 25 points to go along with eight rebounds and four assists. It will be the best all-around game of the season for the Flint-native and maybe a gateway into bigger and better things.
