2. Spartans will finish with less than 10 turnovers

Turnovers, turnovers and more turnovers. Michigan State has struggled in that regard this season, averaging a whopping 14 per game, which isn’t going to win you many games in the Big Ten.

Tom Izzo has been more than displeased with the amount of turnovers this team has accrued through 15 games, but there was progress shown against Cleveland State just last week and the Savannah State performance should have acted as a wake-up call.

The Spartans had just four turnover deep into the second half against Cleveland State before finishing with 11 somehow and the Savannah State game started sloppily for the green and white before they finished strong.

Maryland presents a tough matchup defensively, but the Spartans are going to put a full contest together of clean play and finish with less than 10 turnovers for the first time since Dec. 3 against Nebraska.
