4. Cassius Winston dishes 10-plus assists

Through the first 11 games of the season, Cassius Winston had over 10 assists just one time. Moreover, he had broken eight assist just three times during that stretch, but he’s been on fire lately.

In fact, Winston has 10-plus assists in two of the last four games and has broken the eight-mark in three of those contests. He’s proving to be a more efficient passer and he values finding the open man as much as he does getting his own shot up.

Although Winston has been a much better shooter this season, as well as overall scorer. He’s scored at least 10 points in all but three games and he will add another double-digit scoring performance to go along with 10 more assists on Thursday.

The double-double will mark his third on the season and his 3-point shooting will remain red-hot. Winston has been a monster on the offensive end, and that won’t change in Big Ten action.
