2. Miles Bridges averages about 20 points per game

Recently, Draymond Green had a conversation with superstar sophomore Miles Bridges. He told the Flint-native that he was playing “soft” and needed to attack more. He said that he should be getting all the rebounds and should look to get his shot more often.

How did Bridges respond to those words from the former Spartan? He went out and scored 19 points and grabbed 21 rebounds against Savannah State. He was more aggressive on offense and on the glass and went out and dominated an inferior opponent like everyone expected him to do.

Those words from Draymond have lit a fire under Bridges and he’s not going to let that burn out any time soon. He’s got one thing on the mind right now: winning a national title. Before that, he has to worry about the Big Ten title and Michigan State is the clear favorite to do so.

Bridges is going to prove why he was named preseason Big Ten and national player of the year and become more of a scorer for the Spartans, also hitting the glass with a purpose. We are going to see a much more aggressive Bridges in Big Ten play, averaging about 20 points per game in the first month.
