3. Miles Bridges drops 20-plus again

On the season, Miles Bridges has cracked the 20-point mark just four times and he’s even broken 30 once to tie his career-high. He hasn’t quite been the dominant force on a consistent basis that fans have been hoping for and that needs to change as Big Ten play approaches.

One thing that sets him apart from most kids his age is the fact that even though Michigan State is No. 2 in the country and holds a 12-1 overall record, he knows the Spartans have a long way to go.

Bridges, like his coach, is never content and won’t be until he wins the title. He’s not playing elite competition on Friday night, but he’s going to treat it as a must-win, putting up 20-plus points in the process. This will mark the second time in three games in which he’s scored 20-plus and fifth time in six games he’s broken 17.

The sophomore is going to be dominant on both ends, playing aggressive defense and even forcing some major turnovers which lead to fast-break slams. He’s not settling for outside shots as much anymore, but he will hit four 3-pointers and add some highlight dunks, maybe even an alley-oop off the opening tip for a 22-point outing.
