3. LJ Scott finishes with at least 130 rushing yards

Before the season, if I would have told you LJ Scott would finish the regular season with just two 100-yard performances, you probably would have called me crazy. The junior running back was just six yards short of 1,000 last season and expected a breakout showing in 2017.

However, that hasn’t been the case as he’s struggled mightily, rushing for 788 yards and six touchdowns on just 4.3 yards per carry. His numbers didn’t quite live up to expectations and he will need a big bowl showing if he’s going to make a case for the upcoming NFL draft.

Scott hasn’t revealed if he’s going to enter his name into the draft, but if he plays well enough in the bowl game, he might make the jump. He’s going to finish off the season, and potentially his Spartan career, on a high note with his third 100-yard performance.

The junior from Ohio will rush for at least 130 yards and a touchdown on his way to his second straight 900-yard season. Could this be enough to push him out the door or will he return to try and improve his stock in 2018?
