Michigan State basketball might not be on TV, but that doesn’t mean Miles Bridges is taking plays off. Just watch this nasty put-back slam.

How good is Miles Bridges? If you asked NBA scouts this offseason, they would have told you good enough to be a lottery pick in the 2017 draft class.

Fortunately for Michigan State fans, he decided to return for his sophomore year and that meant more highlight dunks game in and game out.

On Thursday night, the Spartans hosted Long Beach State and Bridges didn’t take any plays off early on, flashing that freakish athleticism. In fact, he had arguably the dunk of the year for the Spartans, putting back a Cassius Winston missed 3-pointer in impressive fashion.

Just watch as Miles got a relatively quiet crowd on its feet early on:

No, the Spartans aren’t on TV, so this wasn’t seen by many, but the fans in attendance were treated to one of the best dunks of the sophomore’s college career. Everyone had been waiting to see this explosiveness after a sluggish start to the year and he has gotten off to a good start against the 49ers.

Bridges is coming off a game in which he tied his career-best 33 points and looked solid from all areas of the floor and has carried that momentum into another non-conference bout.

Ever since being fouled hard in the Oakland game, Bridges looks like a player possessed. Maybe that was the play to light a fire under him for the rest of the year.
