4. Josh Langford will score 20-plus

Through Josh Langford’s career, we have seen just one 20-point performance and it came earlier this season against North Carolina. The sophomore guard has taken it upon himself to become more aggressive with the ball in his hands and he’s become much more than just a shooter.

Moreover, Langford is putting up 10-plus shots per game on a regular basis, which is exactly what Tom Izzo wants to see. He’s aggressive, more of a slasher and can still make 3-pointers. He will also finish with his second career 20-point game on Thursday night against Long Beach State.

There have been multiple occasions in which I’ve predicted Langford to finish as the team’s top scorer, but this time he will go one step further and drain 9-of-15 shots for 22 points, including 4-of-7 from long range. He’s going to have one of the best games of his career and finish just one point short of tying his career-high.

Miles Bridges will also finish with 20-plus points for the second straight game and these two will lead the Spartans in scoring. If Langford can figure out how to put up 15-20 points consistently, Michigan State will be in good shape.
