Offense: A

This was the best offensive performance of the season for Michigan State. Sure, the Spartans turned the ball over 14 times, which needs to be corrected, but they also had 30 assists on 36 made field goals, 107 points and shot 64 percent from the floor.

Michigan State couldn’t seem to miss as the Spartans also made 10-of-20 shots from 3-point range, led by Miles Bridges who was 4-of-7 and Cassius Winston, Josh Langford and Matt McQuaid each made two 3-pointers.

The ball movement was impeccable and this is something Tom Izzo was craving after Saturday’s tight win over Oakland in which the Spartans didn’t seem to value each possession. The ball moved well and clear the open man was found on essentially every scoring possession with those 30 assists on made 36 field goals.

Nick Ward was 9-for-9 from the floor for 20 points and Langford added 14 with Winston at 10. This team found a way to score early and often, breaking the 50-point mark in each half.
