3. Miles Bridges posts a season-high for points

It’s hard to believe that Miles Bridges’ season-high has been just 21 points. Last year as a freshman, he was relied on a bit more to be a scorer, but he has been more of a top option amongst 5-6 different scoring threats.

Since coming back from his sprained ankle injury, he has been easing his way into a bigger role. The sophomore sensation is coming off arguably his best game of the year in which he was on fire from long range and he will follow that up with another 20-point showing to go along with eight rebounds and a couple of blocks.

Bridges was 5-for-11 from deep against Rutgers on Tuesday and he will make another four threes against the Thunderbirds. More importantly, he will have a bigger impact closer to the basketball with some thundering dunks and turnaround jumpers.

We’ve been waiting a month to see this Bridges take off and he will finally look like his preseason national player of the year self, scoring 26 points.
