2. Miles Bridges got his mojo back

People will find a way to knock Miles Bridges’ performance on Tuesday night because he “took too many outside shots” but that’s just what he needed to get his mojo back.

In the games leading up to Rutgers, Bridges wasn’t able to find his stroke and he attempted to make up for that with drives to the basked which were quickly halted by the Scarlet Knights’ defense. He took advantage of well-timed passes to get him open from the perimeter and made 5-of-11 shots from long range.

While Bridges is known for his athleticism and that’s what fans always want to see more of, he’s still going to play the way he feels comfortable playing, and sometimes that means on the perimeter.

Last year, he was forced to play in the post more than he would have liked due to the Spartans’ lack of size, but now he’s on the perimeter as a wing where he’s much more comfortable. He seemed to get his mojo back on Tuesday night with a strong shooting performance from deep, finishing with 21 points.
