1. Miles Bridges takes over in the final minutes, leads MSU to victory

There’s been a ton of criticism surrounding Miles Bridges lately and it’s because he’s been passing far more than he needs to, at least according to Tom Izzo. He said that he’s yelled at Bridges before to be a little more selfish, and a prime example of that was in the first half against Duke.

Michigan State seems to go as Miles goes — or at least that was the case last year. During the PK80 Tournament, though, the Spartans had Matt McQuaid, Cassius Winston and Josh Langford all step up in the three wins with Bridges being limited after his ankle injury the Sunday before.

That’s good news for the team in the long-run, but it will finally rely on the sophomore sensation on Thursday night as the Spartans will be in a tight battle with the Irish in East Lansing. He will take over in the final minutes of the game, putting the Spartans on his back and carrying them to victory.

Miles will be quiet early on, but when the game is on the line, he will silence his critics with an impressive performance, scoring the Spartans’ last 12 points to lead the team to a big win.
